Yüksel 13 Ocak Salı günü çıkarıldığı mahkemede suçlu olduğunu kabul etmişti. Cezasının saptanması için tekrar hakim karşısına çıkan Yüksel, 4 yıl hapis, sonrasında 5 yıl ehliyet mahrumiyeti cezalarına çarptırıldı.<\/P>

Metropolitan Police’in veridiği bilgiye göre; İslington’da ikamet eden ve bakkallık yaparak yaşamını sürdüren Ahmet Yüksel, 15 Ağustos 2008’de Kingsland High Street E8 üzerinde tehlikeli bir şekilde araç kullanmak suretiyle ölüme neden olmak ve adaleti saptırmaktan ceza aldı. <\/P>

“ÇARPTIKTAN SONRA KAÇTI”<\/P>
\n

Polis bilgilerine göre; olay günü Ahmet Yüksel’in kullandığı araç, Kingsland High St ve Balls Pond Road kavşağında Vespa marka motosiklet kullanıcısına çarpmıştı. Yüksel’in yönetimindeki araç, Kinsland High Road’dan sağa dönerken, motosiklet sürücüsünün Kingsland Road’dan kuzeye doğru hareket halinde olduğu saptandı.<\/P>

Kazadan sonra Royal London Hospital’a götürülen motorsikletli Methew Hoxby (34), baş ve bacaklarına aldığı yaralar sonucu kurtarılamayarak yaşamını yitirmişti. <\/P>
\n

Kazanın hemen sonrasında, Yüksel’in kullandığı araç bir an durduğu ancak sonra hızla oradan uzaklaştığı ve araçta, bir erkek ve bir kadın yolcunun olduğu belirlenmişti. Ahmet Yüksel daha sonra tutuklanmış ve kefaletle serbest bırakılmış, adaleti saptırmak suçundan tutuklanan 23 yaşındaki adı açıklanmayan kadın ise, hakkında bir işlem yapılmadan serbest bırakılmıştı.<\/P><\/p>\n
